Initial Redesign Consultation – we will begin by discussing how you use your room(s) and what you would like to have happen.  We will ask if we can “shop” your home for hidden treasures that we can show off in a totally different way.  We then Redesign your room(s) using only your existing furniture, accessories, lighting and art work. In only one day or less your room(s) will be transformed from ordinary to your favorite space.

Color Consultation – isn’t it amazing how the thought of going from white walls to colored walls can give one night terrors?  The Redesigning Woman can help you put your mind at ease over color choices.  It is all about you and what makes your heart sing when you see a certain color and bringing that all together with your existing furnishings and accessories.  I have two full cases of colors to choose from and it can be a lot of fun sorting through them and come up with just the right hue for your lifestyle.

Home Styling to Sell – to be quite honest with you while most people are familiar with the term “staging” we prefer to call it styling. If the property you want styled is your residence we want you to feel comfortable in it while you have it listed for sale.  We do not want you to feel like you cannot live in it.  Styling is a softer word that will make buyer’s feel more at home.  We want buyer’s to see style not a staged scene.  A styled home is a redesign that will show off your home’s best features and minimize flaws.  We go from lot line to lot line* on our consultations.  Did you know that a buyer decides in the first 15 seconds if your house could become their home?  They make this decision at the curb.  A styled home can maximize profit from your real estate investment and can reduce the time your home will spend on the market.

Styling a home is not expensive especially if you consider the fact that it may be significantly less expensive than making a price reduction to get it sold.  The best time to style is before you list your home.

The Redesigning Woman can also help style vacant homes, we have access to furniture rentals and accessories needed to make a vacant home look lived in because many buyer’s need that visual stimulation.

*While we do advise all home owners from the curb to the back lot line, yard work and home repair is advice only and up to the owner to do or contract out to have done.

Personal Design Shopping – there are times in doing a redesign that you, the customer, does not have a certain lamp needed to complete the room, or a piece of furniture or the right accessories.  The Redesigning Woman team is able to personally do the shopping for you utilizing our knowledge of where the bargains are in the Tampa area.  We shop for the item, buy it, provide you with the sales receipt and upon final approval you reimburse us.  It is that easy.

On a Budget Decorating – at The Redesigning Woman we understand that everyone has a budget and everyone also deserves to have rooms they feel great about.  We do offer a decorating consultation in which we help you develop a decorating plan, do a color consult, and draw up our ideas for your furniture and accessory placement and the rest is up to you.
